I'm a tech fanatic, Mac user, Twitterholic who loves the possibilities of Social Media. I got involved in Twitter a month or so ago, and am impressed by the potential of the service. However, I can't help the feeling that something else is going to unseat it before long. I'm on the hunt for that replacement so I can get in ahead of the curve this time.

The use of tools is generally considered to be the purview of Humans and the higher primates. However, scientists have discovered an octopus that gathers coconut shells and uses them for protective armor against predators. There's a 2 minute video here that shows this fascinating behavior.
